Description

 

Also known as the three horned chameleon. these lizards do very well in out door enclosures. Males have a thicker tail base than the females, females may also have no horns. Because of there horns males should be kept separately from other males and females (except for mating)

Vivarium Setup

Size:  min 36x24x36in (92x60x92cm) for mature male, slightly smaller for female.

Design:  Arboreal                         Type:  Temperate Woodland 

Plenty of climbing branches should be provided

Substrate:  Potting soil covered with moss,

Temperature:  24°C (75°F) at cool end, 28°C (82°F) at hot spot; min 10°C (50°F) at night

Photoperiod:  13-14 hours

Light:  Full spectrum (UVB) light and basking lamp

Humidity: 70-90%  Spray daily

Feeding 

Insectivorous. Most insects dusted with supplements
