Emperor Scorpions are not deadly put should still be handled with care, there tail can still  sting that of the strength of a bee.  This can give a bad reaction to anyone allergic to bee stings.

It is vital that you by any scorpion form a knowledgeable dealer who knows exactly what species he is selling, you don't want to go home with a killer.

Emperor Scorpions can vary from shades of brown to black, their pedipalps (claws) have slight swellings and they are also slightly hairy.

Type:  Tropical Rainforest

Substrate:  Vermiculite, leaf litter and tree bark

Feeding

Do not over feed Emperor Scorpions as this can be fatal.  A feed of once every 2 weeks on mealworms, wax worms  should be adequate.
